Ingredients: Casoulet
  • 3 - 4 Chipolatas/Sausages

  • ¼ red onion

  • 100g beans

  • 100g chopped tomatoes

  • ¼ beef stock cube

  • Handful stale bread

  • Dried herbs

  • Bay leaf

  • Rosemary

  • Balsamic vinegar

Task 1) Read through the method thoroughly

Task 2) Bring in 3-4 sausages. If you can get chipolatas, they are thinner and will cook quicker. These must be brought in to the kitchen as soon as you arrive at school with your name on. Let me know if there will be any issues getting the sausages

Method: Casoulet
  • Brown the sausages

  • Add the onions and soften

  • Combine the beans and chopped tomatoes in the pan

  • Season with the herbs

  • Add the stock

  • Simmer

  • Transfer to container with the bread

Check this out, this is a classic cassoulet, time consuming but so so so much flavour. It may not look the prettiest but the flavours are rather splendid
